Performing a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment requires research, investigation, and observation combined with a thorough knowledge of the ASTM standard to evaluate the environmental conditions of a subject property. This training course was designed to introduce newer environmental professionals to CERCLA, associated environmental regulations, and the ASTM standard. It will show them how to navigate the commonly used resources and identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs), and what must be included in the final report. Students will learn practical skills through the use of an example project.
